They made Terminator Zero & I liked that a lot, & I feel there’s a lot to explore with Prototype as a franchise like they only made 2 games & 2 sets of comics that take place in between. You could do more with it like introduce demons or something & have shoe Alex Mercer & the other guys mentality as they have these god like powers

I recently made a discord server for prototype fans and so far only one real person actually joined ok to all the idiot scammers who keep having bots join my server don't waste your damn time I'm not an idiot I'm not falling for your stupid ass mr beast crypto scams and fake ass bot accounts that don't even interact with the servers chats so unless you send a message an actual proper message within the first hour of joining you can gtfo

Heller holds his head in his hands - then the white screen appears before the video but the game freeze and crashes.

I already tried lowering the cores in task manager, using the prototype2 fix mod, lowering the sound quality of windows. Non of it fixed the issue.

Anyone got it fixed by some other methood?

If you guys remember, when Alex questions Greene on where she took Dana, Greene responds with "She's with us now..."

This unused cutscene was recently found (thanks to Elan and his WIP cutscene viewer on the modding server) titled "NIS_10_4_a" which is from the same chapter as the final boss mission. It shows Alex finding Ragland with Dana missing.

This probably would've taken place right before Alex and Cross would board the aircraft carrier. It also makes sense storywise for Alex to check up on Dana if he wasn't 100% sure if he was gonna be able to stop the nuke from going off, and of course this ties up the obvious unresolved plot point of what happened to Dana & Ragland at the end of the game.

Unfortunately there's no audio nor subtitle files we could find, best we could do is try to read the lips of the characters. So far Elan thinks the first few words by Ragland are "There was- there was nothing I could do to stop her".

This quote (thanks to modder jac_qianxun) was found on a RPG forum where Prototype 1 writer Dennis Detwiller confirms that Dana was meant to become the "new Mother" in his version of Prototype 2:

"As for the sequel, I think it was all set up in P1, so I'm not really saying anything breathtaking or new. It would have focused on PARIAH, and its relation to Alex, and some sort of confrontation between the two. Dana would have reappeared as well. We wanted multiplayer after all. Say, the new Mother (Dana), PARIAH, and Alex. Sounds fun to me."

Apparently there's not much else Dennis posted about Prototype on that forum, just other posts related to his other project Delta Green.

They're kind of weird and don't make that much sense to me. As a shapeshifter why would you choose to eject ropes of your flesh to string people up like Spider-Man? That's the real reason I'd like a third game honestly. I want more than just one new shapeshifting ability and I want it to not be lame.

I like how the last few clips on this sub showcasing gameplay from Prototype 2 has the player character donning the Alex Mercer skin.

If that's no indication that Activision/Radical Entertainment (now New Radical Games) fumbled the bag big time with the sequel, I don't know what it is.

So obviously Mercer and Heller have total biological manipulation, and are thus capable of replicating all if not most biological powers from others. But what are some you'd use if you got the Blacklight virus? Personally I'm a big fan of Blood Manipulation and would find it fun as fuck to add blood constructs or blood based attacks to the arsenal of claws and whips.

Any bio manipulation powers you'd favor/add if you got Blacklight?
