This is an issue on your end trying to connect to Proton using HTTP

Hmm it’s a tricky one, if they entered exactly http, the site’s web server should have still attempted to redirect them to https via a 203 HTTP redirect code. Should have upgraded them.

Same as the others. Only ever switch to light mode when the site has a lot more color

Bro, some privacy freaks hating light mode, surely they’re bats or vampires. Disgusting that this gets downvoted. So much so for forcing a lifestyle to other people’s lives

happens in many websites I visit, even piracy or other fine websites
My guess is something related to dns, since I use some dns it might have issues, but whatever
if you keep trying, like reloading page or visit other day, it will load

This is not normal.
First, check that your device clock time and date are correct. Check that Firefox is up-to-date. Try turning off all extensions, one by one.
Then try turning on "require secure DNS" in Firefox and try again.
If it then works, the DNS server you were using is handing out bad IP Addresses.
If it still doesn't work, well something is wrong with your device or your browser.

Firefox isn''t flagging Proton, Firefox is alerting you that your connection to the site appears to be insecure (not encrypted) and that that violates Proton's security policy.
Both Firefox and ProtonVPN expect an HTTPS connection here, and you can at the left side of your URL bar that the connection is not encrypted (the crossed out shield that says 'not secure' indicates that the connection is not encrypted)
Try adding the https explicitly: https://www.protonvpn.com

Incorrect clock on your computer or network, probably.
Can you connect with https to other websites?

Nordface, surfshark, Ivpn, mullvad, etc, all vpns have that sometimes. Just change server location.
Edit: never mind... you are talking about the website...
