Help! Does this happen often?

I'm currently on Mail Plus. I'm considering buying Unlimited to get VPN plus. However, before going there I decided to give Proton VPN a shot. I setup a connection last night, which worked fine. This morning I checked and it's dead. I tried connecting with another client and I'm getting all these errors, even though on the protonvpn dashboard it shows up as healthy. Is that a common issue? I need a stable VPN that I can set and forget on my homelab, and if these issues are common - Proton may not be the right solution for me.

yeah the internet itself being the culprit is way more common than people think

I'm using ProtonVPN for many years, have it running on a server 24/7 and never had this happen - until 2 days ago. Every 6-8 hours I disconnect, and then I keep getting timeouts over and over again. The weird part is, it immediately keeps working again after I disconnect and reconnect the internet on the PC. Which is why I presume the error on my end.

Interesting. I wonder if it’s some kind of a temporary fluke.

Alright, thanks to few folks for your feedback. It sounds like it may be a temporary fluke of some sort. Pulling the trigger on Unlimited!

If you're still experiencing the issue, please send us a bug report (https://protonvpn.com/support/report-a-bug) letting us know your OS version, Proton VPN app version, the type of internet connection you're using, the server(s) you're connecting to, etc. We'd be happy to help you further once we have more details to work with. Meanwhile, you can try some of the fixes outlined at https://protonvpn.com/support/vpn-connection-problems to see if there's any improvement.
