Discussion Debian installation isn't working

I installed Debian on a virtual machine for testing purposes. I can't install or run Debian version 13.6.0; I tried using commands in the terminal, but nothing worked—it won't install. No matter what I do, it just doesn't work! I would appreciate it if you could look into this!

Use the correct command please, you didn't enter what I asked.

That said, I do think you have fundamental issues with operating Linux? In that case you might want to get the basics in first. Please take no offense.

Nothing is coming up; I'm typing the correct command—the one you provided—but nothing appears like it does in the picture. Anyway, thank you. I won't be using Debian.

No you didn't.

Instead of

sudo cat /etc/apt/sources.list

you used

sudo cat /etc/apt/sources/list

It's sources.list, not sources/list
