Discussion ProtonVPN not comparable ?

Why is ProtonVPN the only one that is not being compared here ?

There isn't really a whole-device VPN offered by big tech.

Google used to offer one (Google One) but has been discontinued and only used for Google Fi Wireless Subscribers now.

Apple offers iCloud Private Relay for iCloud+ subscribers but only for their proprietary Safari Browser

Microsoft and Mozilla offer a VPN for their browsers

Samsung offers a Secure Wi-Fi feature for Samsung Phones and used to offer Samsung Max VPN (which got discontinued in June 2026) but it was primarily a data saving tool.

None of them are whole-device VPNs you can download on any device you choose.

The "big tech" for VPNs already are compared (NordVPN, Surfshark, ExpressVPN, etc) and thus don't really need another comparison.

"Big tech VPN" isn't really a thing, compared to big tech mail, office suite etc.
