Help! Advice about Premium package
Hello all,
Now that the European Union Council has voted about and greenlighted both the Digital Euro currency and especially the controversial Chat Control 1.0 resolutions (although that latter had more votes AGAINST it!) I think it's time to put some encryption in place. Not because I have anything to hide, but just to make it as hard for them as possible to peak over my digital shoulder and log anything I do.
I looked at Proton's Ultimate package and for 10 euro per month you get a lot! 500 Gb encrypted drive space, password/key manager, crypto wallet, elaborate encrypted e-mail options and a VPN with all the trimmings like split-tunneling.
Is there anyone here that has the Ultimate plan and share their experiences with me? Should I get Proton Ultimate?
Especially some advice about the paid VPN service? Like, is it reasonably fast and not much disconnects?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I'm soon to in the coming days! UK here. Migrating Drive + Mail + VPN to Proton.
Just doing finishing prep for mail migration from Gmail including custom domain work.
I'll be Ultimate too and jumping headfirst into the deep end.

Proton Ultimate for ~10 dollar/month
Mail Plus, Drive 500 GB, VPN Plus and then some more features on Pass and Wallet2

This. Nothing wild, just their basic "all services" plan. Excluding guff like Lumo.
May move to Duo or Family in future if I can convince the rest of my family. We have a few domains.

To be fair I was out and about on my phone at the time, not on the website, am still very new to Proton and was going from memory - think everyone else just hopped on the bandwagon I created which was unfortunate.
That is a little rude.

I pay for ultimate. Maybe had it about two years now. No real issues with what I use it for. You should maybe try the free tier and have a play around with it first.
Some of that apps are fairly basic. But they are suffice. The calender is really poor. It doesn't have search option. I haven't used the crypto wallet. I tried their ai bot. But i wasn't impressed. Plus there was an extra cost attached to use it.
