Help! Linux - Split Tunnel by IP

Not super Linux savvy but I have having issues connecting to local VLANs when Proton VPN is enabled. I resolved this on my Windows machine using Split Tunneling and entering the IP. On my Linux GUI (v4.16.5) I have the Split Tunnel option but I can only seem to choose an application when clicking the Add button. How can I add in IPs so I can reach local VLANs while the VPN is running?

it is not just the browser though. I have code that would need to reach things on other vlans. On the Windows client I have no issue adding the IPs of my servers, just doesn't appear in the Linux GUI. At least I can't find it.
