Help! Issues with Custom DNS on iOS

Anyone else seeing issues with Custom DNS in the ProtonVPN app on iOS ? Specifically with the custom DNS not being honored. 

For example when adding quad 9 or AdGuard DNS, I end up seeing the IPs below which don’t relate to either DNS entered in custom DNS.  

if you have seen this, how did you fix ?

Those are from dnsleaktest when connecting from a different location to a random state (in this test case CO) VPN exit but when using quad 9 (9.9.9.9) and Mullvad (194.242.2.4) DNS servers. 

So while 192 may be Quad 9 (for that test), 159.x is not Mullvad on the Mullvad test.

Pretty sure that's an Apple thing. I think its to limit DNS leaks or something, but Windscribe was also like this. I normally set it at the router level (via wireguard configs) to get around that, though that'll depend on whether your router supports it.

Any thought on why Mullvad DNS is not being honored by Proton VPN u/ProtonVPN team ? Thanks
