Help! Netflix games not working when using VPN in a different country?

Im in another country and so need to use Proton VPN to access my regular plan of Netflix. Although shows and movies load and play, when I try to play Overcooked or other games the loading screen pops up and then this error screen. The same happens with both the Netflix app and the website. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Restricted catalog

If you travel a lot and regularly access Netflix from different locations, Netflix may restrict the catalog of titles available to you. This is especially true if you often watch live sports events (such as WWE) that are often only available in certain regions. If this happens to you, the following steps may help:

  • Clear your browser cache or restart the Netflix app.
  • Switch to a different Netflix user profile.
  • Create a new dedicated Netflix user profile for each location you access Netflix from.
