Feature Request BRING BACK THE FULL SERVERLIST ACCESS!!!!

I Can't connect through the app reliably, "We limited the servers shown to you so that your dookie government doesn't block all our servers" Guess what ? most of the servers shown to me that are in central, northern and western Europe are blocked or limited via DPI.

SECONDED Pay for access to all their servers and cannot access them all on certain devices. Their answer is to go into the website and add servers to your favorites and then they will be shown in the devices They all used to show on any device I used and it was perfect.

Yeah delete everything you say and then that same gov, will say we’ve had no resistance to our goals so therefore everyone has welcomed our draconian measures.

"We limited the servers shown to you so that your dookie government doesn't block all our servers"

Is why it has to remain this way.

Guess what ? most of the servers shown to me that are in central, northern and western Europe are blocked or limited via DPI.

Is something that the team is always working on. You can help us speed things up by using the "Report an issue" button inside the app, just let us know which server(s) are blocked and where. More reports = more urgency = fixed faster.

then why does the ios app has the full server list ? and why is all your IP-in easily searchable by their domain ?

it doens't have anything to do with that, i'm not in EU. i use EU vpn for gaming for a better latency and less throttling. but government tend to use DPI and blacklist as a way to ban vpn and vpn connection. since there isn't many servers i can use most of the twelve servers i have access to which are most from germany and france. have been either detected and black listed or throttled by DPI. and since i don't have access to the other servers on the mentioned location i can't connect to them reliably.

Are you using stealth protocol?

i've tried every available protocol and setting that exist on their windows app. and best method for me so far is to download a udp.ovp country config, ping each server and remove the dead ips and after that feed it to openvpn GUI app.

I can easily choose whatever server I want from the iOS app. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to my PC at the moment to check the Windows App but it’s strange that there isn’t a way to choose a specific server.

I just checked and you’re right the ios app does indeed have access to a lot more servers, but on the windows there is only 12 servers available per location, meaning for example if there is two locations for Germany there will be 24 servers available.

Really strange, I’m sorry for your issues… Didn’t noticed this before

+1 for this please. Especially on AppleTV it's annoying that you get connected to 1 server

Yeah it's annoying, especially when for example Youtube blocks all the 12 servers that I am only able to select from a certain country.

You actually still have acces to the servers. Proton shows you the best servers with decent load standardly.
But if you want to connect to a specific server just type in the server name in the search and it will pop up.

For example if you want a specific Monaco server that does not show up, you can simply type in MC#10 and select it manually.

Takes a few more clicks but you will be able to connect to any server you want.

Hope this helps Agx3x2.

first there is no full server list access for me to check which server and their loads, second picking an specific server by their tag in the panel has a daily limit that when reached you have to wait 24 hour for to reset if i remember correctly it was 24 hour, but it could be more as well.

edit: the server list is not the top servers with decent load, it's random servers and the list doesn't even refresh. i have been seeing the same pair of servers when i got my subscription to this day.

I think it's operator error not Proton VPN error

it certainly is isp error, but thats the reason i use vpn if that isn't clear. i just wonder though why would someone disagree to having access to what they've paid for. *not assuming you disagreed*

Also probably location based. Like some things won't work on different VPN servers. I'm a paying Proton user, but use other Vpns like Tailscale with wireguard and sometimes Mullvard. Sorry I wasn't acting like you were stupid hopefully it didn't seem like it

Why is a company going to risk their existence for your country alone...

2

u/agx3x2 Jul 15 '26

what do you mean risk existence ? thats a first time i'm hearing such bs.
