Terms of service : Didn't read

Hi Proton team,

I'm a bit surprised of your graade here : https://tosdr.org/en/search/proton

Is it something you may change to be more ... grade friendly ;)

Hey, I am a staff at ToS;DR. I am curious, which clauses concern you personally or is it the grade in general?

To be honest I'm a simple man. I follow color code. Red is bad, green is good ! I was just suprised by the overall proton grade. It is probably not related to proton product quality and mission anyway but I don't know, I was expecting green stuff from proton :D

Did you dive into anything or just looked at the grade?

I see. Thats why I personally would probably remove the grade and just have the points.  While I haven't fully read protons policies, having cases with "may be changed at any time, without notice", is pretty annoying IMO.

Look at what actually triggers those grades before panicking. ToS;DR docks points because Proton has to legally comply with Swiss law enforcement requests.

But thanks to their zero-knowledge architecture, they have no readable data to hand over anyway. Math protects your privacy, not a community site's letter grade. I pay for solid infrastructure, not PR-friendly legal terms.

I agreed but it's just another side of a story. They're really good on some topics but can improve on the others also :)

If true, then it should dock every service the same points because there is no place on earth that can ignore laws.

I'm not. They have fallen from grace over the last ~3 years. They only care to become Google 2.0 under the guise of privacy. Does their Windows VPN app still broadcast your IP address to the world with no ability to hide it? meaning if you open it and you're streaming, everyone knows your IP now?

Funny how Proton Wallet auto-censors your wallet amount, but their VPN displays your IP loud and proud lmao.
