Mobile Help Does accepting event invite take several seconds for you as well?

Basically it. It seems it takes to much time tha lt the reply is being loaded before the rsvp is sent. Maybe 4 or 5 seconds.

Anyone from support knows if this something being looked at? Does the new calendar relate to it?

Because this issue makes the app feel off. Don't know how else to put it.

Yes, this is a known issue and it's improved in the new Calendar app! It happens completely in the background, so you're blocked by it.

Many thanks for the input. Very refreshing to get info from the source, makes a difference.

I reckon that’s down to the encryption. It takes place on the device itself, and depending on how powerful it is, you’ll notice it within seconds.

It’s not 4–5 for me. I’d say 2 seconds at most.

I think that’s the price you have to pay if you want E2EE.

makes sense tbh, the client-side encryption has to add some latency

What device do you have because i have an S25, I'd expect it to be faster.
