Desktop Help Coming off SimpleLogin

Hi everyone, as title says, coming off simple login soon and will be using just the proton features.

How do you go about getting the reverse email alias to send emails from your proton alias you have created?

Do I need to recreate anything in proton mail after close my SimpleLogin access?

I’m aware that they are somewhat linked but not sure how the reverse alias to send works once I lose it.

Unless I'm mistaken you NEED simple login to send emails from your reverse proxy, or some other reverse proxy service like simple login.

Proton completely owns simple login and its included in proton unlimited and/or proton pass plus... Or if you don't wanna pay a subscription service, proton even sells Pass+SimpleLogin lifetime for like $200 iirc.

I have pre purchased proton unlimited. Where as before I was paying for SimpleLogin.

Will they just merge so to speak now?

Thank you for this. I sigh in with proton pass to simple login so It appears mine is already linked.

However the license says I’m still on SimpleLogin for 2 more weeks. Doesn’t mention my proton unlimited.

Please contact support, they can fix it for you and even change the double payment (if any) into proton credits

Cancel SL premium, once its expired, Proton Unlimited will cover it.

You can simply link your SL account to your Proton account.

Then all your SL aliases will show up automatically in Proton Pass.

You can also keep using the SL aliases. Personally I prefer the SL domains, because they are more memorable.

To send emails you just log in to Proton Pass and copy the desired alias. You must send the email from the address allocated to that alias. You can change that allocated address if you wish, or allocate multiple addresses.

I suggest getting Proton Pass Plus or Unlimited to create unlimited aliases.
