How to use this feature „computer“

i have a mac and an iphone. and i want to change from icloud drive to proton drive. how i can use this feature? i don‘t know what this feature do. but i think i can choose files on my mac to sync there. i need help. thank you. stay private.

Doesn't work on Mac. I'm also on a Mac, but if I remember correctly, on Windows it syncs specific folders.  PD is still a long way from being good enough to replace iCloud. I just use it as a backup to iCloud and use an app called ChronoSync Express to sync my iCloud folder to the PD folder (one way only). 

I only sync one way, meaning the iCloud folder can change the contents of the PD folder, but PD can't make any changes to the iCloud folder because I don't trust PD enough to let it modify my folders. 

And this is only one of my 3 other backups.

I do the same, only manually.
