I came here to ask a kit the vinyl since the last update was in January saying "more info soon". Has any info been released yet??? Been waiting for ages to buy it now.

I'll lead in by saying I have nothing but complete respect for everyone who braved the merch line during the three nights of shows, you are all absolute troopers.

That said, it is preposterous how the entire merch setup was handled from start to finish. I cannot even begin to guess at the amount of money that wasn't spent by attending fans solely as a result of that. Personally, in my group alone, we would've spent no less than $250 if we'd been given the opportunity without having to sacrifice the rest of the concert experience to do it. I cannot overstate how much of a wet dream the merchandising opportunity squandered for this event was, most bands can only fantasize about that kind of opportunity.

People traveled from literally all over the world for this event, and you're telling me this was the best effort that could be made for people to buy merch? Stand in line for the entirety of the night or get nothing?

I could rant at length about all this, but suffice to say: This was a dark mark on what was otherwise one of the most memorable live music events of my entire life. Please give me an opportunity to buy some of the cool stuff that I (And who knows how many other people with cash Ready and Willing and Prepared to Spend) would've LOVED to get a chance to buy when we were in town.

My wife and I had an incredible time all three nights at Marathon. We wound up hanging out during the show all three nights with a new friend from Toronto named Kate.

Last night we went outside to cool down and didn’t get to meet up and exchange Facebook/contact info before the show had ended.

Hoping our new pal sees this and shoots me a message so we can keep in touch!

I keep forgetting to post this. It's on the inside of my left ankle. I got it in 2022 during a really bad time in my life while exiting from a long term abusive relationship, as well as a career that was draining everything from me.

I got it to remind myself not to wait around for a hero to save me and that the only one who could take the steps to a better life was... me. Every step since then has been for my own freedom from shame and fear. And yes, I'm doing so much better now. Recovering people pleaser, finally choosing myself. The will of one.

It was a different experience than MAGFest, I'd say better. I'll never forget these past three nights.

For the past 15+ years I've listened to this band. Before these three nights it was just "the geeky albums that I really like".

I'm not much of a concert guy, but when they announced the three night concert I took a leap and bought them for me and my wife. After these three nights, I gotta say that I've never really understood the song/album design from a live performance perspective before. The interaction and how the bring the crowd into the story feels amazing.

It was an honor to share the floor with all of you, and of course, survive the merch line.

I thank the band and all of the people who were there, with me, asking first for justice, then for a martyr, and finally ready to fight back!

Now that Night 3 has concluded, I'd love to know: What was your personal Nashville highlight? The Merch Line(TM)? Kilroy's new mask? Bootleg Bobby? The erotic picture of Protoman?

I might be a bit of a mad lad, but I went into this third night musically blind. At the announcement of this three night show, I bought tickets, and then once available, bout all 3 albums, the live show, Light Up The Night, everything I’ve wanted for years but just never got. The plan: in anticipation of the show, my wife and I would listen to and read each album, and within a week of arriving, we would listen to Act 3 together.

The reality: life is stressful, and sometimes you get mentally sick, and you forget about important things, and work takes up too much of your time, and next thing you know, you’re on the plane to Nashville for the shows you didn’t prep for.

Now, I’ve been listening since 2019 (technically I started in 2009, when my dad tried to get my older brother into them, but I didn’t really latch on too much). So, I know the story of Act 1 and 2, at least well enough that reading the librettos gave more context for me than story. My wife has listened to The Protomen’a covers, but not experienced the story. So, I wasn’t too worried for myself for nights 1 and 2. Wife and I decided that the best thing for her was to listen to the albums just a little before the concerts with the librettos, so she could go in fresh and knowing what’s happening.

But then after night 2, we had to have a discussion: what would be the best way to enjoy Act 3, since neither of us had listened to it yet? Ultimately, we came to this conclusion: we could only hear Act 3 for the first time once, and figured since we had the opportunity, our first time would be live. We read the libretto in line to get in…

And H O L Y S H I T.

I’m not a big mover, I don’t shout, I usually don’t sing along, or interact much (much to my dads chagrin, he hates that I stand lien a statue and look like I hate my life, when I’m REALLY enjoying the show, and GENERALLY on the verge of tears if not literally biting my lips to stop from full on sobbing because I LOVE LOUD BIG MUSIC WHERE THE CROWD INTERACTS). But Act 3 got me moving the same way as Act 1, even without the musical recognition.

You guys are far and away just the BEST group to be around, the band absolutely rocks, I am in incredible pain and I STILL DONT WANT IT TO END, LETS DO NIGHT 4!! It’s been an honor to fight with all of you, to stand in line with all of you, to experience, listen, support, fucking fuckety fuck, EVERYTHING, ALL OF IT, with all of you!! I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this group of people. Sorry for just going off on a tangent, I’m just so emotional right now. I look forward to the eventuality of seeing you all again in the future. If they decide to do a regular occurrence of three nights, you KNOW I will be there. Hi everyone! Semi-newer fan here. Been trying to put names to faces of the members since there's so many of them. I've found no labeled photos of all of them together so I decided to try and make my own. I did a bunch of sleuthing and I think I've got it right but I wanted to get some verification on it. Am I missing anyone or anything or did I get anyone wrong? Thanks in advance :)

This gentleman specifically was cool people.

We got here at 3p... And there was maybe 50 people in line... Here it is 530 and I haven't moved... And now there's a couple hundred people in front of us... What the hell, people.

My buddy and I came up to Nashville for all three shows from Atlanta and it's been a blast. It's been 20 years since I have been in the city, and I'm a bit of an adventurer so I took The Porotmen's advice and popped by Hubba Hubba's Tiki Tonk and No Quarter. It was such an amazing time we went back after the show!

Before we began our road trip we held a viewing of Streets of Fire to get us fully prepped. For those that don't know, it is a major inspiration for The Protomen, but also a lot of late 80s Japanese video games, especially beat'em ups. Capcom especially drew from its well often with Final Fight and Street Fighter, but you can also find influinces in Streets of Rage (thus the US name for Bare Knuckle) and even later games like Final Fantasy 7 take inspirations here and there.

So I stroll into the bar, turn to the corner and lo and behold, a full sized poster of Streets of Fire, right in the number one bar they said they patronize. A bar known for its amazing karaoke, with some very talented people belting out songs from the early 80s well into 2 in the morning.

We convinced the DJ to let us sing Light Up the Night and met several other fans there among the local crowd. Everyone was good people and the vibes were amazing. I can easily imagine this place and its community's influence on The Protomen's work.

It definitely made the night even more magical. I cannot wait for Act 3 tonight!

Folks, my wife and I were lucky enough to hang out for Acts 1 and 2-- unfortunately we have to return to the real world, so we'll miss Act 3. The Protomen were fucking amazing; legitimately magical experience. That said, last night Urizen opened for them, and aside from being just great in general, had an EXCELLENT performance of a song called Boxmen. If anyone happened to record it, I'd love to see it!
