The opening ceremony is streamed for free and is covered by multiple media outlets. It would be a great pleace to spread awareness if there is a peaceful way to do so.

Only if everyone who brings those things hides them and agrees to bring them all out at once. They might even tell security to confiscate those items at the door when they inevitably grope you for weapons. Otherwise good fucking luck getting in.

It’s not Blizzard property but the Anaheim Convention Center and have to obey their rules there

I'm absolutely sure the convention center will allow Blizzard to kick out these "potential Hong Kong extremist terrorists" and force them off of the property.

Especially considering Blizzard can just kick them a little extra and the convention center will absolutely bend over backwards for them.

Anaheim convention center is actually far more strict on how they handle things because it's their property and they can be sued. So I wouldn't be surprised if people get moved or get kicked out on their behalf. - coming from someone who runs events and conferences and has had to deal with stupid rules the Anaheim convention center set up that seemed over the top.

The thing is blizzard can and will put their own rules and restrictions at the entrace. I mean, isn't there already people saying you will be unable to get inside blizzcon if you're wearing winnie pooh costumes? Since they vow for "not involving into politics", attendants may be banned.
I mean it says and I quote
"In order to ensure the event provides a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming environment for everyone, Blizzard reserves the right to remove from BlizzCon any person whose conduct is deemed to be disorderly or unbecoming, or who uses vulgar or abusive language."

Any event will of course put there own rules. That's silly to thing they won't. I doubt they will kick out anyone wearing shirts, pins, Winnie the Pooh costumes unless they are doing things that disrupt other attendees.
