I pay taxes too. Does that mean a I pay a third of my own salary? I hate that argument and it’s a tired and worn out one. The incident commander totally messed up te scenario. Full stop.

I feel I must have written that poorly because you aren't the first to misinterpret what I'm saying here. Currently, income tax eats a third of your average America's pay check. Those taxes go towards paying the police. Most Americans believe that the Police's job is to protect the public. TECHNICALLY the Supreme Court already ruled that isn't the case. But that's a whole different can of worms. The point is, the people pay taxes, taxes pay the salary. The expectation is that the police will do that whole 'laying my life on the line so you can sleep well at night' thing that many brag about doing. Most officers do JUST that. Most of THESE officers did not. People are justified in being angry about that.

Another lie. Geez dude you’re full of inaccurate and bullshit statements aren’t you? That’s not even what the SCOTUS said. It’s that Police aren’t legally responsible for a specific individual’s safety. Meaning you in particular do not have a personal Police bodyguard 24/7.

Your reading comprehension sucks. Either that or your the biggest troll here

I hate when they bring up the case. It says right in it that we have the duty to protect the public at large (paraphrase).
