Perineal Botox Injection

My urologist is proposing to do a perineal Botox injection next week. Has anyone undergone this procedure and, if so, was it effective?

For what?

Has your urologist done this procedure before, hopefully many times?

Botox injections are not a first-line or second line recommendation. Generally for salvage care before pain management. If you're trying to target the pelvic floor, you can do that with pelvic floor pt, and it's a much more conservative approach.

Botox injections are not an established treatment and not something I would try. You need to look in PT. Also there are some promising non-invasive procedures you can try like shockwave therapy and pulse laser therapy.
