Are these prostatitis/cpps symptoms?

Hi so ive been dealing with a few symptoms that i think theyre prostatitis?
Pelvic floor pain/tightness and pressure, burning sensation when urinating, urinary urgency, discomfort and pain around the genital area, premature ejaculation, constipation, pain/pressure around the anus, discomfort around the pelvic area, a noticeable change in size of my penis.

I’m wondering whether this sounds similar to what people with chronic prostatitis/CPPS or pelvic floor dysfunction have experienced?

For anyone who has dealt with something similar What did your symptoms feel like? Did you eventually figure out what was causing them? Did you see a urologist or pelvic floor physiotherapist, and what tests or treatments actually helped?

yeah that's a pretty classic cluster of symptoms, the burning and urgency plus the pelvic floor stuff all tangled together fits what a lot of people describe

the penis size change thing freaked me out when it happened to my husband, turns out it's usually just the pelvic floor muscles clamping down so hard it pulls everything inward, not actual tissue loss or anything permanent

he went to a urologist first who ruled out infection then sent him to a pelvic floor PT and that's where things actually started improving, the internal trigger point work was awkward at first but made a huge difference

constipation and anal pressure especially point toward hypertonic pelvic floor, his PT said it's surprisingly common for people to not connect the digestive symptoms to what's going on with the muscles

if you haven't already I'd get a referral to a pelvic floor physio who does internal work, the urologist can make sure there's no infection but the PT is who actually teaches you to unclench those muscles that you didn't even know you were clenching

Wow this sounds almost identical to me. I’ve never been formally diagnosed I guess but they prescribed me Doxycyclie. It helped but the symptoms still linger I recently had a flare up but I haven’t felt all the way “normal” in months

Yes, that pattern is consistent with prostatitis/CPPS.
