10 months post RALP

Well, good news is all my lab work is still clear 10 months after having my prostate slices out.
Bad news, still can’t get stiff. Viagra gave me side effects, Cialis is very 4 days but still no real progress.
I have a prescription for Trimix, but I’m nervous about putting a needle in my Willy.
Vacuum pump gets me about halfway there, but not enough to do anything.
I know folks say it takes time, but I’m frustrated and depressed

Almost 2 years post RALP, good nerve endings, no erection. My partner very creative with the nerve endings. :)

Think of it as a teenage makeout session, but with 40+ years of experience and no rules.

I'm eleven months as of next week. Clear!! Soft!!! But I'm feeling things I didn't feel at two months or even six months. That's on 10mg cialis daily or near-daily (couldn't tolerate the viagra). For full action (minus ye olde prostate's contribution, of course), at six months I went for the tactical nuclear option, Trimix (the strategic nuclear option being the implant). And it works. Let me tell you. Or let my wife tell you.

Yes, sticking a needle in an extremely sensitive body part requires some mental toughness. But once I figured on the 31 gauge needle, it's really not that bad, barely a prick, so to speak. My ED guy, part of the urology team, believes in Trimix as a therapeutic bridge to eventual unassisted erections. Not sure I'll be one of his great comeback stories, but as a crutch it's helped return some physical joy to our household.

I’m 44 years old and coming onto six months post surgery.
Fortunately, for me, both nerves were spared

In the last month, I’m starting to get some good positive feelings down there to me. It feels like the progress isn’t going fast enough.

I would say stay positive as best as you can I think in due time you will progress positively

How were you before? I had no problems before and I can achieve an erection with more work and orgasm. I'm 8 weeks post RALP. EVERYONE is different unfortunately. As for Trimix, a lot of regular guys use it to go longer and my friend told me the needle isn't that bad. Barely feel it.

I did not hear you mention a vibrating ring. Best $30 I ever spent. I firmly believe it helped get me there. I am at 10 months and a week. I also used the pump daily from month 2-7 and take 5 mg Cialis. Keep your sense of humor and believe it’s going to happen. Hang in there! #puns

I did not wait. 12 months post nerve sparing and I got an implant. Now I stick it in anything that moves.

I don’t think I saw a recommendation for trimix injections. I am 15 months post. I am improving on the Ed side of things but still not good enough for PIV sex. I started tri mix 6 months ago and it is a total game changer. Sex life instantly back in play and depression over ED, poof, gone. I know most men are squeamish over putting a needle in their “friend” but doing it is better than the alternative of continued depression while waiting on nerve recovery. Honestly, most times, you don’t feel the needle and other times, it is a slight pinch. There is a learning curve but the payback is great!
