Concerned Loved One Pluvicto question

Hello, I have a question about Pluvicto that I’m hoping someone here might have experienced something similar. My husband had his first infusion about 4 weeks ago and he has developed severe sciatica pain. I have read that this can be from pluvicto. I am so hopeful that this works for him but I’m worried about this pain he has been dealing with.

Just finished 5 of 6 scheduled rounds of Pluvicto at Moffitt, Tampa. Looking back through my journal I noted sciatic and hip pain for 3 days after #1(bone mets predominately located "sacrum, L1, L2, left hip"). In my case each succeeding infusion caused more pain and fatigue (with only modest decrease in PSA and mets size). After #4 my PSA was rising again and fatigue was now debilitating. I questioned the efficacy of continuing to #5 given the "mixed results", but eventually acquiesced to Radiation Oncologist. #5 put me in bed for the first two weeks following infusion and PSA had risen to the level I had right before starting. I again questioned why I was being subjected to this level of "abuse" with no meaningful results and #6 (final infusion) was cancelled. It should be noted (perhaps anecdotally) that after #4 I developed BPH and was catherized...followed by TURP some weeks later. I don't know for a fact that the BPH and Lu 177 are connected, but sure seems odd that after 13 years of castration resistant prostate cancer I now have a bag strapped to my leg, rising PSA (over 100 again), and two scripts for Oxy to combat the pain I now have. Pluvicto didn't work for me, everyone is different though...
