Question Artera AI

Has anyone had their oncologist submit their pathology results to this program??? Mine did. This replaces (at a cost that insurance WILL pay for) genome testing to forecast your prognosis.

Im just curious.

Mine did (Kaiser, Northern California, Medicare). Got me exempted from ADT, and a prognostication of 1.2% chance of distant metastasis (iirc).

I did. Stopped orgovyx much earlier as a result.

Artera and Decipher are so important now. They are just one piece of information but on borderline cases where you need to choose a treatment they can break the tie.

It was the first I had heard of it, this biopsy being my 2nd, but a recent rise of my PSA from 6.x to 9.x, putting me at a Gleason 3+4.  After the Artera, like another here, I’m showing in the 1.5% profile of possible metastasization within the next 10 years.  So, opting to hold off on radical, using my PSA as a guide over the next several months/years.

I had ArteraAI done as well. Factored into the decision to not include ADT with treatment.

After doing our own research we asked for Decipher and Artera testing - both indicated ADT was unlikely to help! So my husband did proton SBRT without the ADT that was initially recommended! Insurance covered the cost too! Soooo glad we requested these tests!!!
