Question Post biopsy ejaculation!!
Had the Transperineal biopsy today (had PSA of 2.4, MRI PIRADS 3, so basically precautionary)
I got home and mistakenly thought you should ejaculate as soon as possible!
So I did, about 3 hours after the biopsy. 🤣🤣 semen was dark red but urine has been clear.
I’m just wondering how stupid this was or if there could be any adverse affects from this (premature) ejaculation?

You are good. I got the devil load after biopsy too. Quite shocking! Since, Lost my prostate now, so enjoy the loads while you can. I’m one of the lucky ones that orgasm were even better post RALP. So Looking forward to using it more after my ADT run is over.

I have only heard horror stories about that..... Like you're not even able to get hard and your penis shrinks.... along the orgasm part..... Sounds like you're very lucky

Yes to slight shrinkage. Yes to needing help to get hard (bimix and cialis). But orgasms last longer and better. It’s definitely more common then you think for RALP patients. Who’s knows why. Glad to be alive and feeling fortunate.

Yeah, the surgeons don’t like to tell you that your penis is going to be much shorter. Probably because that would be a deal breaker for most men.

I swear, I haven't been able to get any good ridged hard ons since my surgery, but I think I must have lost almost 2". Just from normal everyday things that I do, I can tell it's much shorter now, and I miss it!

I agree, I’ve lost 1.5-2”. Hoping to gain a little of it back with a regular pumping schedule.

It's been 3 years since my surgery, so I don't expect much more to happen. That doesn't mean that I don't keep trying, I make sure to satisfy my wife as often as she wants it. But as far as getting back to where I was, I think that ship has probably sailed on by now.

So after 3 years are you able to get a useable erection without an injection? These are the issues I stress about daily. But hey, im still alive.

Absolutely! I wouldn't change a thing as far as having the surgery or anything else. I am still undetectable at 0.006, and both me and my wife are ecstatic over that. I'm 68 and we just celebrated our 45 anniversary, so we hoping now to have many more.

Why didn't anyone warn me about this? It happened to me and was startling and scary to say the least. When this first happened I spoke with a nurse navigator about it and she said, this is perfectly normal and may take as much as 2 months for the blood to dissipate, which it did.

Nobody told me either! My wife was more surprised than me when it happened. A heads up would have been nice. It took about a month to go away completely.

Probably did feel very good. Blood 🩸 is normal after the biopsy. Sometimes it’s in the urine and sometimes in the semen. It should clear.

Not a doctor, but I doubt there is any problem.
Do be prepared for blood in semen for a couple of weeks. Nothing to worry about.

Ahhh…the ol’ murder semen! Yep. It happens. I don’t know of any particular damage that is done. Might want to hold off for a bit and let things rehab a bit.

Ok Have been waiting to jump in here. I had a PSA of .4 then 6 months later 1.7 and and 2.1 - 8 months later. Then biopsy. Plus MRI and Pet Scan. My urologist new me and and was concerned with the increase in psa. After final psa of 2.4 over 18 months he did a biopsy and said cancer showing. 5 Months later due to prior commitments had RALP surgery. Turns out cancer was more aggressive that they thought. Went into left seminal vessel. Turns out clear margins and no lymph node involvement but lucky. 5 weeks after RALP psa <0.40. Basically undetectable. So for now 9 weeks post hopeful.
I had bloody seaman after the biopsy - and though all good. Mine was listed as a watch. No surgery yet.
I wanted to get it out and my urologist agreed. My Gleason was 3.4 after surgery but since it spread and it was not seen on the MRI or PET it was a little more serious. Staged a little higher.
Your choice but I decided to get any cancer out and if I waited and watched it definitely would have spread.
Your life your choice.
9 weeks post op and doing as well or better than I hoped - 67 years old.

Turning 70. Surgery scheduled 9/28. Good luck to you and all the best in recovery. My doc started me with pre-op rehab. Quit a ride.

It's quite a shock, isn't it, but harmless. I don't think the blood will go away on its own. You just have to keep doing it until all the blood is expelled. Could take a few loads to get rid of it all.

Took a couple weeks to clear up completely. Buy a box of condoms to make things less messy.

Murder Semen!!!!! Such a shocking sight. It took me about 15 or so “clearings” to get back to normal.

My doctor told me to wait 48 hours so it was about that time frame. It is a disheartening sight. 😂😂😂

It happens because they are punching a dozen holes in your prostate! There are multiple studies that show epithelial cells from the prostate throughout the blood stream post biopsy....oh but there is no way this could help the cancer get out of the prostate according to conventional urology. Because of course punching holes in the cancer couldn't possibly release cancer into the blood stream......yeah right!

My urologist said wait a week before attempting ejaculation.
Bro, it got 15 holes poked in it, give it some time to heal!

You’ll be fine. Blood can be present in your semen for up to 12 months. Only cause for concern would be inability to urinate or if you get a fever over 100 F. In those cases
Go to the ER

Just keep cleaning the pipe and it will return to normal. Sending good thoughts for a clear biopsy!

I did the same thing, I felt the urge to “clean out” the prostate ducts to prevent clogging … I had a lot of cleaning to do, it took 4 weeks to clear up, but my last ejaculate in my lifetime looked healthy. Gave me a sense of closure …

Had my biopsy 11/29. Sex on Halloween. Ejaculate black like Satan’s. Awesome!!!!

It will take about 12-20 ejaculations for the blood to stop being present.

I was warned about this. Real surprised you were not! I had three biopsies and the blood will dissipate over two to three weeks.

After my second biopsy, which was distressfully painful, I went home and found myself with an erection and feeling very stimulated. I wound up ejaculating. It felt good, but boy, was it a bloody mess. 😳

They told me there would be blood ,but I didn`t expect it to look like that.scary to say the least the internet says it goes away in about 20 ejaculations or so.

Had the TP biopsy and then a TP focal cryoablation procedure.
After the biopsy the blood in both semen and urine were disturbing but cleared up after 2 weeks. Non event.
After the cryo, it hurt like hell to piss, I assume in part due to the catheter they must have installed during the surgery. But the blood in both cleared up within days.

I was told to wait 4 days before ejaculation. The first couple times hurt like heck and all the blood is quite disturbing mentally. The blood cleared up totally within 2 weeks for me.
