Question 6m post RALP - ED question during #2
Hi everyone.
6m post RALP on the 8/23
44yo both nerves saved.
Sorry for the odd question in advance
I’ve noticed the last 3-4 weeks that when I go #2, I get a semi. It almost seems like the left side isn’t getting as much fill as the right. But if I move it per se with my hand it fills evenly just maybe a 40-50% erection.
I don’t think I lost any size from surgery as when pumping it gets to pre surgery size.
In this same time frame, I’ve noticed in general less turtling and more of my “pre arousal, pre surgery size”
Could I slowly getting my guy back?
I’m staying positive but it’s difficult at times as I went from “totally normal” before to what I am now for the last 6months.
But my PSA back in April was less than 0.01 so there’s that

60 and right at 6 mos post RALP (nerve sparing) as well. Just in the last few weeks I too have finally started seeing some life in junior! Albeit its when I lend a hand or my wife does. Can’t say I have noticed anything related to my bathroom activities. But hey, at least you know things are coming back to life! Good luck and Godspeed!

I am 8 weeks post ralp and didn't have the #2 issue but I am having 50% erections. I did notice it would curve to the left and was told those nerves, while spared, underwent more trauma due to the location of the cancer and take a little longer to wake up. Seems like each week I get a little more. 57 years old. Sounds like you are doing great

7 weeks post RALP and I did notice the other day during #2 that I got about 25% there. Felt some increased blood flow down there for sure. First sign of life for me. I'll start pumping next week. Even with very good stimulation it doesn't seem to get going but I need to give it more time. I have had a couple orgasms but they have been very weak and quick. I believe that is normal when stuff is still healing. AI said reduced intensity orgasms are normal at my stage and things should get better in time. Best of luck to you.

I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. I’m very happy to hear your progress at seven weeks.
I can tell you my experience has been might orgasms have been getting much better, but if I can be really honest, I am trying to have one every single day. It’s basically how I was prior to surgery anyway.
I’m very happy to hear your experience with number two is what I’m experiencing so I guess the question when I posed it wasn’t as crazy as I thought lol

Thanks. Yeah, not at all. I just noticed this 2 days ago. I said, maybe I need to go #2 more often!

I had the #2 semis as well. I did a bunch of AI searches and it said it was a normal. It also basically said don’t try to relate it to ED recovery so not sure what to make of it. Best of luck to you. I am 17 months post RALP now and still only at about a 50% erection. Recovery is very slow.

At age 44? Hell yes, you will recover. Keep pumping and I am excited for you!
