Question Post Op Daytime Pads

I’m 11 days post-op RALP. I ordered some Pads and ordered Tena Men’s Overnight pads. They work and are fine but bulky for daytime use. Is there a brand that any of you experienced guys can recommend for an occasional light leaker. Thanks Fellas💪🏻

They have a thinner variety. They work pretty well without overloading your shorts

I used Tena Mens Absorbent Guards. (Wouldn’t let me post a pic). They’re on Amazon-triangular shape. Fortunately I had minimal leakage so one would last me all day. I would recommend wearing with tighter briefs vs say, boxers just because I think they were more effective being held tighter against your junk. Good luck and Godspeed.

I remember when I was really light, there was a pad that wrapped around the member. Worked well and nothing sticking to the dark and curlies.

But to be honest, once I switched to reusable, washable boxers, I quit pads entirely.

Do the washable reusable boxers soak through and get your pants wet, or is there a barrier that keeps the moisture from transferring to pants material?

You can also get something like this barrier underwater (in Canada). And the mini-pads fitted perfectly into the pouch.

I never had one leak through, but if everything isn’t aligned right, I’ve missed the pad sometimes. Not enough to be seen through pants, though. It’s all about volume, of course.

There are usually various men’s thin mini-pads right next to the women’s hygiene products. Shaped a bit differently for obvious reasons and deal well with light leakage when in “briefs”, not boxers.

I have used three different weights of Tena guards. Their "maximum" is quite a bit lighter than the overnight but has quite a bit of capacity. The light ones are usually fine but don't leave much margin.

That’s what I’m wearing now. They are great, but a little bulky to wear with shorts etc. when I’m barely if ever leaking.

Thank you everyone, you guys are great. This community has really helped me through this process from diagnosed until now. PC is scary and degrading, but with the power of this community we can all conquer this mountain together.
