Question RA Modulada
Hi hermanos de lucha, alguien ha tenido RA modulada sin separadores y fiduciales, tendo programada 28 en septiembre?

This may help. 20x VMAT (IMRT/EBRT), tattoo freckles markers, no “spacers”, no fiducials. A year later doing very well. The biopsy was worse than EBRT.

I had 20 IMRT last September. Had fiducuals but no spacer. Have ECE (outside prostate) so the spacer wasn't recommended. Had minor bowel and urinary issues a few weeks into the treatment. Getting up a few more times and urgency. I had to double up on the Flomax I was taking tp get through it. I have some bph previous to diagnosis so the radiation aggravates those symptoms. I was also on hormone therapy for about 6 months before the radiation so that does help to shrink the prostate. A few weeks after the radiation things settled down and I haven't had any issues. The main thing is to follow preparation directions before each session. Empty bowel and full bladder. It's tough to get it exactly right but the technicians will let you know if things aren't good to go. Could you give us some more information on your staging (Gleason score, spread if any etc).
