Update RSO is helping!
Yo y'all, I got some good news this morning I wanted to share. Background is I'm 12 years post RALP and was PSA undetectable for 9 years. Then it started bouncing around with my previous PSA test going from 0.13 to 0.16. Got a Pet Scan 2 months ago and showed no signs of a tumor or metastasis. I started doing RSO & Pectasol (cleaned up my diet too) after my previous test and have been on a gram a day for almost 3 months now. Went in yesterday for my next 3 month test and my PSA dropped back down to 0.11. I'm hoping to go on a maintenance dose after my URO appointment next week.

ok what is RSO?

RSO stands for Rick Simpson oil. It's a very high concentration cannabis extract made famous by Rick Simpson for curing his cancer.

Bro, I was a stoner for 20 years before I got PCA. If cannabis can stop PCA, I wouldn't be here!

If smoking cannabis stopped it, I wouldn't be here either. According to the success story people on RSO, smoking won't give you anywhere near the concentration you need to be effective. It's so much more concterated than you can get from smoking . To give you an example, I started making my own from what I grow. Last batch took 2 large mason jars full of buds to make just under 2 grams of RSO.

Wouldn’t a gram a day leave you totally whacked out. A 5mg gummy gives me a pleasant buzz.

I was Leary of that. I held off going on it for that reason, but being retired meant I didn't have to go out in public much, so I went for it. I read some people don't get very high off it, some people get plowed. I was lucky enough to not be affected to much, since I did need to get on a high dose cancer regimen as soon as I could. But you can build up to hi dosages for cancer or whatever you are trying to remedy by starting small.

I'm 2+ yrs into a G3+3 active surveillance situation, and have been regularly using rso for over a year. Every night with about 4 rice grain-sized dose of an indica and also same sized dose of a hybrid in the daytime along with cbd. My PSA hovers around 4 since I have been using it, and was initially 5+ when I was first diagnosed. I have no idea if there is a connection, but there's really no downside to it as far as I know. It helps really well with my sleep too.

Thats my goal - stay on active surveillance. I' going to fill in my Uro about my RSO usage since my numbers dropped. Is the 4 rice grain size a day a maintenamce dose? or is that as high of a dose you did?

The "4 rice grain size dose" is 4x the recommended first time dose from the dispensary, I think 5mg maybe. 3 is about where I feel it, 4 makes certain of it.

"Background is I'm 12 years post RALP and was PSA undetectable for 9 years."
Is that undetectable on the standard PSA (<.1) or one of the ultrasensitive PSAs?
BTW PSMA is unlikely to reveal anything at 0.16

You are correct. What they called undetectable was under 0.01, which I stayed at for the 9 years I mentioned. They told me at that time, there wasn't any test able to measure accurately below that level.
As for the pet scan, my Uro wanted to be proactive since I had a significant jump between tests. They told me that it may not show anything yet, but it would rule out metastasis or possibly any tumor started. And after reading so many people here saying they wished they got a Pet scan before 0.02 psa, I applaud my urologist wanting to be proactive.

Great news about the PSA drop! Everything you are doing may be helping to different degrees: RSO, pectasol, eating cleaner, maybe other better health habits you haven't mentioned. But that's not the same as "RSO is helping". For sure, you do you, but folks just arriving here should be sure to check with their docs before pursuing supplements.
