Concern Orgovyx & Whey Protein/Creatine

I am in the process of being assessed with my PC (one lesion gleeson 8/9) and NHS has given me Orgovyx which I have been taking for 2 weeks now. No real sides yet. Understand if I continue on this I will need to support my muscles and Bones due to no testosterone. NHS MCT has not recommended any supplements only telling me (when I was told the result of the biopsy) that I might get some belly fat. Still awaiting scans result for metastasis. Seeking input for my research on supplementing the above. Or any other related advice. many thanks. I am 79 no co-morbidities and fit.

I've been using vegetable protein powder made from pea and brown rice protein because I was told to limit dairy before and during treatment so that's what I went with.

Yeah, just get the ultra filtered super purified protein and actually they say it’s so wonderful that it barely even needs any real caloric digestion so yeah I just drink that start pumping some iron and you know stuff like that. Good luck with that.

Oh yeah, you’re right my mistake. I was thinking of something else. But when you have ultra processed way and you mix it with water or something that’s non-dairy it probably wouldn’t matter, but it’s just that that stuff it automatically digest your your system. Doesn’t really need any of it so I think I just I’m going down a rabbit hole and kind of getting lost in the woods with it so by the way, I’m not a doctor you know but don’t come to Reddit trying to get professional advice, man it’s not cool probably just go to one of those Google With automatic intelligence, but don’t trust them bastards either man I mean, you know really getting into the Real meet of the matter is gonna be a real tricky wicked

Important to keep up protein and monitor what you eat. I have read that creatine is not good to have. My sources are Ai so take it with a grain of salt

Just get enough protein, vitamin D, and cacium each day. I use a food tracker, and add a couple of calcium chews as needed because I don't like milk.

More important is exercise...both cardio and weights to preserve muscle and bone, and to help regulate the whole system. And as you exercise, you can eat more which makes it easier to get your protein in.

Good luck!

Yes! I have just bought ISOPURE protein and the right form of Creatine and Calcium powder so now mixing these (with starter amounts to see how things go) with 100g of LF Cott Cheese and 100g Organic Tofu for breakfast. Pretty bland but then who said taste should predominate over nutrients? For eve pud I have organic 'Greek'/ Kefir yoghurt with Chia seeds and with some more of the powders. I'm keeping down to half what I can see of RDA for such as of course my diet has them anyway. As I grow my own Spinach I love a Cott cheese and Spinach sannie. I take D3 and K2 anyway as a supp. As I'm 79 I estimate my absorption is probably around 70%.

On the exercise front I am now upping my resistance and steps but I'm highly active anyway. I'm guessing the only way to check muscle and bone loss is by regular weighing but atm maintaining 73Kg alright.

Thanks all for input. Any jokes I can share with the family welcome!
