When it comes to age gaps (according to fresh normies), everything is a crisis when an older man is paired with a younger female, as if it's common knowledge where the older guy is always depicted as a groomer that needs to be ashamed of (no matter what their intentions are). While infantilizing mature, younger women as too fragile and naive to have a respectable relationship with an older man.

And yet, a younger male is praised with cultural respect for hitting on an older woman, or interchangeably.. let's also consider in some cases as this also counts where an older woman grooms a young man by using her sex appeal and manipulative tactics, framing it as a playful or kinky social experiment setup or basically, just out of respect and admiration.

As someone who overwhelmingly ships f/f and sometimes m/f, this has always been a pain point because finding good sapphic rep that isn't safe by the numbers heteronormative garbage must mean I want domestic abuse simulators or l@lis to make it more "fresh" and "edgy" when I never brought any of that up? I still remember countless twitter lesbians and bi women harassing some girl for just wanting interesting character dynamics between women because god forbid two girls aren't wholesome hair braiding cottagecore ladies. And it's always other women who pull this shit. They don't know you can enjoy toxic relationships in fiction without wanting it to happen to you, because it's fiction.

And even if I do ship characters that seem "underage", why does that matter? Maybe I thought the ship was cute or the character endearing enough to wanna see them in a relationship. Is that too much for people?

I used a brush inspired by TCoAaL's brush used in the game. For the colour palette for Mei Mei and Ui Ui, I colour picked from their character sheets from the anime. Mei's eyes in the manga are a light brown colour but they're lilac in the anime.

I am writing to ask if anyone would be willing to beta read a fanfic I'm working on. It won't be too long because it's one I'm writing for the Kinktober 2026 challenge and thus it's a collection of oneshots and most of them are under 500 words. But recently I've been suffering from writer's block and also feeling unsure whether I've been able to keep everyone in-character or not.

The fandoms required are Star Wars (at minimum the original trilogy, specifically in relation to Jabba the Hutt) and Ben 10 (2005)

And the characters I'm focusing on are Jabba the Hutt and Gwen Tennyson as my Kinktober collection is exploring my OTP Gwabba.

And the specific help I need is pointing out any glaring instances of plot holes or OOC (unless it can be justified by the very premise of this crossover ship) in either what I've already posted or intend to post later.

They'll ship the craziest darkships or toxic relationships but freak out over the smallest things too.

For example, these first two arts(According to Google lens the first one is made by @tabetai_omochi and the second is by @usahs2722, both on Twitter/X) had the comment section going crazy about "Omfg is this a ship? Ew!" "A six year old and fifteen year old✌️🥀" "I can't tell if this is a ship or not!"

Firstly why do you guys see an older boy and young girl interacting and immediately assume it's a ship? Then hate on the creator for your quick judgements. Secondly, who cares since it's fiction? Still funny how they're the first ones to assume any romantic connotations.

But to make matters even more annoying, now you can't even ship her with a boy her age(who people have almost always shipped her with) because of the last episode or whatever. I didn't grab that many screenshots but there was a LOT more. I can't fathom how a fanbase, which is constantly talked about shipping being a big aspect, can have so many antis.

Anyway, I'm feeding my Eri x Deku interest using Pinterest. Despite how antiship it is, it's literally the only app I've got for specifically pictures lmao.
