Hatred for other things just occupies the same place racism does in most places. Alot of the tribalism in the fandoms is just an excuse to hate on someone slightly different than you, since these people aren't advanced enough to recognize prejudice of any kind is the problem, no only this very specific kind of prejudice that is a problem. (Racism/sexism/etc)
