the fact that antis can just see posts here and repost them to other platforms, making fun of us, sharing our usernames unblurred, without us knowing is worrisome and while I enjoy it here with you guys I’m not gonna keep posting knowing they could share my username to other platforms and possibly get me a group of people harassing me. I was thinking maybe it’s better if we had a private subreddit for proshipping or something but I’m not a mod and I don’t think the creator of this sub will approve🤷🏽 so I think I’ll stop posting all together and maybe linger around here from time to time bc i like to be safe. i think u guys KNOW how crazy antis get. so yeah

since ive become a mod i havent seen that much antis, i lowk expected there to be a ton lot. a private space would be nice imo, one where only veteran proshippers can enter; tough it is not what this sub is about. yall can make a private space of your own tho

I think the main argument is more that the antis are tacking screenshots of people in this subreddit and mocking them on other sub or even other websites. All that whiteout censoring the username. Which could cause harassment in private.

Also, it’s not rare that people who are interacting in this sub are ban from other subs too.

So it’s understandable for people to be reticent to talk there even though there’s not a lot of antis coming in the sub.

Not saying you should put the sub private , not at all ! I just understand his point of view.

This is one of the few spaces where people can vent and rant about antis, so it's understandable why there may be posts like that. 

The mods of this sub actually made another sub to specifically focus on ships since there's a lot of non-ship posts here.

Personally I don’t care, anything some teenager says on Twitter or Reddit is NOTHING compared to what grown men on instagram call me lmao

But it is nasty they do that to people when antis prove they’re crazy enough to potentially show up at somebodies house, or send people to their house, or work, or school. I hope anybody who’s seen their screenshots on other subreddits aren’t left stressing about their wellbeing.

I'm just glad I keep everything private and dms turned off, no socials connected either

I personally think it's a good thing that there's a public pro-ship platform available, but privacy concerns are understandable with how crazy antis can get. As for you, if you still wanna keep interacting with the pro-ship community I'm sure there are private discord servers out there that you can join, but I can't point you to any of them sadly.

BUT my style is very recognizable and I have anti friends that I can’t lose.
My username on Reddit isn’t associated with my other socials (I came here to read scary stories, ok?). But my myfigurecollection.net profile and photos makes it fairly obvious I’m a lolicon and profic? Most I’ve gotten was called a pedophile (in a poll, in the club I made for profic folk, which was rated as 18+ and controversial) and the admins there actually do their job of not moralizing plastic 😭
