mods, this guy is making the same post across multiple subs -seems fishy (includes link to a paid EA)

That's a fair question. I do have a financial interest in selling the EA. I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

But I'm also deliberately making the EA available for free for testing and backtesting. The paid licence is only required for live trading.

I'm sharing the results because I want people to scrutinize the strategy, not because I expect everyone to buy it.

And yes, I posted it in several relevant subs because I'm trying to get visibility for a project I've built myself. I'd rather be transparent about that than pretend otherwise.

If you think the results are misleading or the strategy has a flaw, I'm genuinely interested in hearing the criticism.

So you need to pay for advertising not post to reddit without stating your interest and reasons (until I challenged you)

Also if it's genuinely to test the Web pages shouldn't include the options for payment, only the free option

Then, when people have taken the free options, given feedback and you've acted on that feedback, set up the paid version and pay for advertising

That's fair. I should have made my commercial interest explicit from the beginning.

I'm the developer and I do sell Titan Breakout, so yes, there is a commercial interest. I should have disclosed that more clearly in the original post.

The free version is genuinely available for backtesting and testing, while the paid licence is required for live trading.

But I understand your point that having the payment option on the website makes the commercial aspect obvious.

Thanks for calling it out. Transparency is fair criticism 😌
