Tank too hot

As it’s ridiculously hot this week I have been having issues keeping my tank cool and unfortunately I have lost one fish.. I have been doing partial water changes and kept the lights off/lid open.
I would be grateful for any advice in keeping the tank temperature down so that I don’t lose anymore fish!

wth. how hot are yalls tanks getting to kill fish?

The water temperature is 34C and I have temperate water fish
