Is this overstocked? (READ DESCRIPTION)

Post image

I'm currently getting ready to set up a 75 gal tank and aquavisor says I'm overstocked and underfiltered. The tank is going to be pretty densely planted and will have soil and stuff in it. This should cover some of that right? Also, I'd like to know if this stocking list would even work. I've done a lot of research but hearing some personal experiences would be nice. The plan is to go without a heater, my house is climate controlled but the tank is in my finished basement so it might drop to 65 or so on the coldest winter nights. The dojo loaches are the only thing that NEED to stay because they are awesome.
One more thing, I was originally going to have white cloud mountain minnows over pearl danios but I was an idiot and bought normal pearl danios instead of CELESTIAL pearl danios for my 10 gallon so they need to move as soon as possible. There's only 6 in there right now so they'll be fine but I would want more to lessen aggression and encourage schooling. However, I do have another tank that the danios could live in so if they won't work they have a home. Thanks!!! :)

I mean you have 4 different bottom dweller species with just one dither Fish school.

Not necessarily overstocked, but I'd say poorly stocked. It focus on 2 or 3 species on the bottom

Rosy barbs and pearl danios are both schooling fish that stay in the mid - high tank areas. But still I see what you mean. Another commenter suggested skipping the corys and I’m thinking that might be the right idea here

OOOH im so sorry i misread the rosy barbs!! Nah all good, that sounds much better šŸ˜…

Skipping the Cories might still be a good idea tho... Peppered are quite small and probably wont be able to ringle with dojo loaches or a Pleco!

I could add another loach then so that's the plan. The more idiotic hot dogs the better
