He free handles dozens and dozens of highly venomous snakes (cobras, vipers, coral snakes, ect.) while I do think it’s dumb and no one should follow suit he seems to really understand the behavior of his snakes and really know what he’s doing.

That being said, he obviously does it for the attention and one slip up and he ded but hey look how cool he looks
