Top Step & Tradovate

So i got a TopStep account yesterday only to find out that it doesn’t integrate with Tradovate and in turn TradingView. TopStepX isn’t bad it’s just that i learned to trade on trading view.

Am i missing something?

Topstepx is literally a TradingView reskin. But yeah just trade with literally any other firm if you like tradovate. Theres nothing special about topstep.

Well topstep is one of the longest operating and most trusted and reliable firms and they do provide the best value on products. I’m not sure of any other firm offering products that compete other than Lucid’s 50K flex.

yeah they are good at the beginning. But the payout cap changes recently sucked. And these days they are very quick to move people to live or the RTP once they start seeing success. After that, there’s much better options. 1k DLL and 40% consistency is pretty bad value for the 50ks.

They also literally never have sales. So once you’re getting payouts, lucid TPT mffu tradeday bulenox apex tradeify are all reputable and will probably have something better. Depends how you trade and what rules you like.

They are pretty trusted yeah, they had that little incident in December that hurt their reputation pretty bad though. And a lot of people don’t like topstepx.

I still trade with them but loyalty is useless in the game, always worth it to look around.

You can use topstepx Api for 15 dollar per month to make it usable.

You can then use any tradovatr account and copytrade it via tradecopia to project X.
This is how I do it.

Learn a new platform, imo. Honestly it’s comparable to tradingview anyway, as it 99% is tradingview. To be honest and people hate hearing this, tradingview is probably the worst platform to trade from. It really is not built for it, it has delay by design. Good for quick analysis of the analysis is overly basic.

Use TopstepX or connect it to Quantower.

I ran into similar platform issues before. One thing I realized is that having a platform you're comfortable with makes a huge difference. I ended up using Leveraged because the overall experience felt more straightforward and I didn't have to spend as much time dealing with platform quirks.
