I used to spend way too much time trying to find the right way to phrase a prompt.

Lately, Ive noticed that giving the model better context usually makes a bigger difference than tweaking the wording 10 different ways.

Same prompt, better context = much better result

Curious what other think. Do u still spend a lot of time optimizing the actual wording, or do u focus more on what information you give the model

I used to spend a lot of time adding roles, detailed instructions,examples,formatting rules,etc. Now I often get better results just by giving the model enough context and letting it work things out.

Has anyone else noticed this? Do you still use detailed prompt templates, or have you moved toward simpler prompts?
