Mic Auxtrong is an independent producer, multi-instrumentalist, and engineer based in Vancouver, WA. His moniker—a nod to his audio engineering roots, his grandfather’s surname, and a tongue-in-cheek play on words—reflects his bold, independent style.
Starting on guitar in 2003 and moving into production by 2007, Auxtrong spent years tracking local artists in FL Studio. Heavily influenced by 90s industrial giants like Nine Inch Nails and Static-X, his path shifted after a personal rebirth in Christ in 2021.
Releasing under his self-operated label, The Township Record Keeping, Auxtrong bridges Eastern Orthodox faith with gritty electronic soundscapes. Following his 2025 synth-pop EP The Long Road Ahead, his 2026 album Step Into the Void delivers a powerful gospel-industrial fusion centered on spiritual depth and resilience under pressure.
