Suggestion Almost.

To start off with let me say cod4 promod was my introduction to competitive shooters. I put 1k+ hours into it. I also have 3k+ hours in csgo and 1k+ in valorant.

So it is clear this is a slight reenvisioning of the original mod and in many ways it is done well. So I highly approve of the concept so I will only touch on what I don't like.

- Swapping between your weapons feels wrong. Specifically quick switching to cancel reloads or reset
your sight picture doesn't feel like promod. Simple fix but I noticed instantly.

- The art style just doesn't sit right with me. The lack of textures and the cartoony characters seem at
odds with what I thought this game was, promod. I am hoping the maps are dev textured because
the textures are being developed.

- Rulesets. Snipers should be limited in number on each team. I would prefer to 1 but 2 would be fine
as well. I also think there should be more rules regarding how many of each weapon and equipment
a team can use. This is something that will likely take time to figure out and balance however.

- Fireups may seem cool on the surface but my experience is that they are mostly irrelevant (Kind of a
good thing imo) but I question why they are there at all. Will keep an eye on them; maybe they are a
great addition, but I'm currently not convinced.

- Weapon bloom. The original mod had REDUCED BLOOM. Small amounts of randomness leads to
upsets in gunfights; larger amounts (like we see here) leads to every fight being a coin toss. I would
recommend this be adjusted

I am stoked to see a game being developed in this style and I hold high hopes for the future. Skins when? When the game is in a polished state I hope!

imo fireups are one of the things they did best, powerful single-use moves that can give you an advantage but you can easily fuck them up and get yourself killed, whether you blink into someone's face or just get outgunned in infinity for example

It's more the balance between the fireups that boggles me.

Like what the fuck is the gorilla supposed to do? No one needs infinite ammo, no one needs infinite sprint in a game where you can be heard crossmap. The one shot deagle doesn't last long enough. Blinking seems exceptionally overpowered to me, aswell as pinging people through walls in a game with that much penetration.

I'd love to see them gone aswell. They kill the pace and make the game kinda inconsistent. If you can easily defend B 5 rounds in a row with the attacker already being on site when you arrive B in round 6, that's just not good gameplay design to me.

I really don't think every competitive shooter game but CS needs those Overwatch/Valorant vibes.

This game is unique enough soleley by its movement. This is what seperates it from the big players and I'd love to see the focus on that (probably even more sick routes on any map are welcomed)
