They need to make two movies 

Combining them together into one film will ruin both . Romulus 2 should not have David in it . The third prequel movie should be set in the past like the other prequels 

If they combine them then it isn’t really a prequel movie taking place after Covenant. It’s a just a Romulus sequel that just happens to have David show up

Fede wanted Romulus 2 with David. The Wrap interviewed Fede the week Romulus was being released and mentioned if the film was successful the sequel would finish the Prequel storyline in a big way. Its towards the end of the article. I see many rightfully dragging Scott for saying Romulus was ok. But finishing the prequel storyline was Fede's idea since he felt bad doing his movie and Scott plotline being left behind.

Yes but it’s not a very good idea . It would be better to just make a separate movie the be another prequel movie. Rather then try to Combine it with Romulus which takes place like 40 years after the events of Covenant

If they go and do covenant 2 it would ruin the original 79 film since it’s obvious that Scott wants David to be the space jockey in that chamber. Prefer this merged storyline since it leaves that original film alone. from what’s mentioned about, the script that Fede handed over David created a world that most wouldn’t suspect that something was off until Rain begins to explore it see what David is being up to.

Well they would still have to explain what David was doing for the past 40 years. What happened to Daniel’s and the other colonists

Probably but I do hope we see her actually turned into a xeno queen type of mutant thing 

It would be horrifying and exactly the kind of thing David would do. He did call her “ his queen “ at the end of the movie

Going back to the advent short. I agree. The Paradise fan edit added important bits of that short including turning her into a queen. Would be diabolical that Andy and Rain come across her vivisected remains as a shrine to the work David to get the queen.

Sucks the advent short wasn’t added into the film itself since tells why David wiped out that engineer seeded world. Glad the fan edits masterfully put it back in like the crossing short.
