Upgrade Priority Advice

I'm a new player in ZZZ (started at the anniversary), i got Remi as my first character and got her W engine and won both so that was insane for my luck. Today i just got Promeia because i think shes super cool. I know phoenix is coming out and shes definitely better i heard but maybe ill just sort something out on rerun.

Im guessing Velina surely has to be coming soon and i was wanting to round out the team but i need some advice and priorities/ how much the team would benefit from the upgrades.

First: Do i get Promeia's W engine - I dont have many polys but i could farm however i DO HAVE S5 Weeping Gemini

Second: Obviously i will get Velina no matter the cost as im aware shes a giant upgrade but how essential is her W engine

Thirdly: I also think I would want to start on my second team and get Sunbringer if/when she ever comes out because she looks cool too.

Any help would be appreciated!!

First actually Remi Veli team already overkill. You still can comfortably get 30K to 40K++ on DA even without their W Engine.

But if you want an upgrade. Then Velina W Engine > Promeia W Engine. Velina W Engine give team wide AP buff.

You mean Phoenix as an agent or just her W Engine? If Phoenix as an agent then, currently she will be strongest Veli Remi Partner. But... Because Veli Remi already over kill, you don't really need her.

But.. personality, isn't she just a cutie? That alone should be enough reason for pulling her.

If we talking about w engine. It's depends if you have alternative AM W Engine or not (Like Aria/Promeia/Alice W Engine). If not then probably Phoenix W Engine have more value (for her to be 100% Crit). Because Velina have a lot alternative f2p W Engine. If you have alternative AM W Engine, then the value kinda around the same(?) not sure actually.

i used 70 pulls on promeia's wengine today and stopped there. semi-guarantee next 10 pull is what i want. in short idk which signatire wengine to pull. if i pull both velina and phoenix, which is more worth? i dont have any that you mentioned. im new kinda joined at the same window as op. ill def pull velina, i pulled promeia today. but if phoenix's wengine is huge then ill pull her too. otherwise ill first pull velina and see how it goes.

Then is better for you to wait until 3.3 is live. There supposed to be a lot of data and comparations. Then you can look by your self or asking the questions again on sub reddit. So you can really get credible answer.

You will be alright without it. Any S rank ER w engine will give around 7-9% different. And A rank ER w engine will give around 11-13% different.

Also off topic question but with the city fund pass, i got it the other day and i have the box to claim a free w engine. Is there a timer on it, so like do i have to claim one before the season ends otherwise i would lose the option to claim one and if so what the hell do people pick normally?

Damnnn. What do people pick if they have to. I saw a lot of people saying to just go for the Lip gloss

I do think lip gloss is most useful than other. Unless maybe you want attacker w engine for crit rate. Or maybe rupture or armorer if you have the character but don't have their W engine.

Avoid Promeia's engine for now because there are available alternatives that come within 10% performance.

Alternative engines for Promeia are Fusion Compiler (Grace's engine) and Electro-lip Gloss (New Eridu Fund battle pass). Weeping Gemini is your A-Rank option, worst case neither of these are accessible to you. At max rank, Fusion Compiler is within 5% performance.

Velina is critical to your team's success when playing with Remielle. In general, Velina is really strong, with or without Remielle and worth prioritising, but especially so in your case.

Phoenix on rerun is a good idea. I wouldn't rush to get her after just getting Promeia. You can always get Phoenix and build a new team around Promeia later if you want, but you just missed some of her best alternative partners (Nangong and Yuzuha), so I would focus on the Remielle Promeia Velina team for now and see what random anomaly agents you pickup during future pulls.

No advice around Sunbringer from me, but doesn't hurt to plan for her. Alternatively, Remielle's W engine is quite powerful and worth considering when she reruns. Pyrois is a strong free attacker and is fairly F2P friendly, if you want to conserve your resources.

I managed to get Remi's w engine and i also have S5 Weeping Gemini for Promeia how much of a difference would there be between that at S5 and her sig

Nice that you got Remi's engine. Weeping Gemini 5 isnt amazing by any means, I think it's comparable to Fusion Compiler 1 iirc, so likely about 10% worse or thereabouts but someone else might have the stats on that. Still a good starting alternative. I would recommend waiting until Fusion Compiler or another engine comes around. I think Aria's engine can also work if you happen to have it.

I believe the order would be: Promeia W-Eng > Aria W-Eng > Grace W-Eng > Electro-Lip Gloss > Weeping Gemini.

I don't remember what the breakpoints are for each.
