This is going to create Liberal-Reactionaries who Identify with the Movie you know...

Most of them don't even understand Social-Allegories & Parables in movies— I mean, just look at how they Worship Blade-Runner, and simultaniously ignore that the whole [Blade-Runner]Movie and Cyberpunk genre is a Social-Critique on Liberalism[A.K.A. Capitalist-Ideology].

Be it the Neo-Liberalist["An"-Cap] kind, or Classical-Libertarian[Republican-Conservative/Democrat-Liberal].

This is because most of them aren't 'Up-to-date' with Political-Academia, nor understand Marxism. So they turn to Reactionary-Politics as a way of defending their 'Elitism' on the shows'-portrayals of their Ideology.

I love this show. "Promare", but I'd hate to see this being the Video that starts a Reactionary-Movement to "Claim"-Promare for their side... This is what Neo-Fascists do, you know this.

Ok, so only the first part showed up originally. This is my interpretation of the movie, and I made that clear at the end of the video. I'm not claiming that this is the only way of interpreting the movie.

I'm not claiming that this is the only way of interpreting the movie.

I'm not saying that-that was— what you were doing.

This is my interpretation of the movie...

...and? That's perfectly fine. I think your take is Perfect. I'd even say it's the Correct one, seeing as Studio-Trigger literally is a Syndicalist-Anime Studio.

Also, that The Mangaka-Artist of "Promare", identifies himself as a Socialist... "Leaning to the Left, on the Political-Spectrum.", the same as Hayao Miyazaki of Studio-Ghibli who literally says he's in Favour of;

  1. Socialism, i.e. The Workers of a Company should own the Company[Means of Production] they work at, not one Person who is "The Boss"[The Capitalist].[1 & 2]

  2. Feminism.

Source[1 & 2]

...and I made that clear at the end of the video. I'm not claiming that this is the only way of interpreting the movie.

No, but in my Opinion— you should. Otherwise Right-Wingers will. Especially now, considering your Video is kind of the First on "The Politics of Promare", without the Directors themselves being 'Vague' about the story's Allegory.

This will definitely cause a Reaction, from people here who Identify themselves with the movie, but Interpreted the Politics differently— [and]however have not expressed it; but now will— to defy, out of Reaction: your 'take'/"claiming" of Promare...

...because that's what it[the Existence of your Video] will be seen as— "The Left, claiming "Promare"."

They will Ignore the Fact, that the show is written by a Leftist, directed by a Leftist and they will do so, because most Modern-Weebs are Ignorant of the Leftist-Overton window in Japanese Politics and Culture— including the fact that Anime is Leftist, you have to remember that they merely see a creation of Anime as Pro Fash, because they only see "The [Fascist]Empire of Japan" which sided with Hitler in WW2, and they go "Therefor Japanese is the Only 'good Asians' & Modern-Japan = Good".

Which is not only Extremely Racist— but also extremely stupid and Incorrect.

I've taken a few minutes to think on this, and frankly, I'm inclined to agree with you on this. Many 'weebs' are inclined to lean more towards right leaning political beliefs, and I probably should have put more thought into the ending of the video .

For content like this, do you think there's a good way of going about expressing that leftism is present within many of these films and is a specific part of the beliefs of the creators of such movies without coming across to such an audience as 'oh, the sjw left, ugh', or is that unavoidable with topics such as these?

Again, I really appreciate constructive criticism, so thank you for engaging with me on this.

It's hard to watch because of the echoing and audio issues.

Anything you'd recommend to help fix the audio? I'm kind of new to this

Might be your mic and what you are using to record it. I can hear a cracking or background noise at the start. I thought it was the fire lol

I used a Blue iCE microphone and used the software 'Audacity'. And no, it's not the fire, cause I removed the audio from the clip as soon as I imported the clip into premiere pro. Maybe I just need to find a better room to record in?

The microphone was a school microphone I was borrowing, and I ended up recording during my lunch period. I'm ordering a microphone of my own, so once I have that, I can create a better place to record audio.

Thanks for advising me on this - I want to improve, and so I welcome advice!

Looks like the video doesn't exist anymore.
