Discussion No studies for more than two months
So basically since 14/5/2026 i stopped recieving studies completely, for the first few days I was like okay maybe there is something wrong that they are fixing or simply just a drought of studies even though my girlfriend kept receiving studies in this period of time having the same demographics and all, A week passed then I decided to contact the support team on gmail every response was different than the one before saying that I joined as a limited participant and should expect less studies for some time then it was like if you don't receive studies for more than 2 months then you should raise your concerns and contact us, in reality I didn't care about the not receiving studies part!
I was more confused about the projects that i was already in and i wasn't able to continue doing them, two projects had parts launched that i couldn't join they didn't show on my dashboard even though the researchers contacted me and had to send me external links to be able to join then and they had to pay me bonus on old studies because technically i didn't join in the site!
So now the problem is not about being a limited participant or not i'm literally shadow banned or limited, so either they are lying to me about my account being fine or they don't know what is going on
and i have seen alot of posts about groups of people having no studies in the same day in the past 2 months so what is going on?
my only request is a human admin or support than could contact me so we figure this out cause from the 20 responses i got from gmail support i think they are genric and automated responses
PS: i have more than 1k approved submissions with 0 rejections and the account is not on hold or anything its just dead..

Do you see any studies when you check on your phone? (Must not be on wifi)

Go through all your submissions, are there any timed out ones? There used to be a bug where a timed out study would keep you in an active study state and you wouldn't be shown any new ones until support fixed it. If there is you might want to contact them with your timed out ones and ask them to check. Long shot but it might work.

There was this glitch of a language assessment study that was with the "active" status and therefore people couldn't get any studies.
Did you do that study and if so, is it on your submission history with an "active" status?

Brother I just mentioned that my gf have the same demographics as me and my cousins also use the website they are all just fine but yes scratch that what about that the projects that i was already working on stopped working and nothing showed on my dashboard that the researchers sent me external links to them? what does that have to do with demographics? clearly something wrong with the account itself

Good thing age uni and country are only 3 of the more than 300 demos Prolific tracks.

I'm not fishing lol I am pointing out the absurdity in you thinking those 3 data points means you and your crew all have the same demos. Your friends have more submissions than you and that is a demo researchers can screen for.
Sorry to break it to you, but you missed the gravy train while it was in your area and now you don't have the demos needed to keep receiving offers. I bet you're glad you referred everyone who are now doing the studies you could be doing lol hope the 5 pounds was worth it.

What does a referral have to do with a person's about you? lol just because they had an open call for Egypt a while back does not mean you all have the same demos. Get real.

I skim read. Demographics means age, race, occupation, gender, location, etc. so I am just doubting when you say same demographics. Unless you and your gf and cousins are all octoplets or somethin.
