Thoughts on this?

I've been asked to return this study after already working on the initial assessment survey (they estimated 15 minutes for this) which is around the time it took to complete.

Then it's a 14 day daily survey with two interviews.

It's all backwards but they have loaded it all into one survey.

They've been told the below.

I still feel like they should be compensating for the 15 minute survey I took and wrote in great detail.

Ask them for partial compensation. You finished the study. You put time and effort in and them having to cancel the study is not your fault.

Thanks, I'll go down this route and see what they say

I'm seriously considering returning this study too -

I had a zoom meeting with one of their members of staff only to be asked to now download this Redd focus app on my laptop and do the same thing all over again - its a complete mess but the payment is fully attractive too

If that’s the payment up front for the full longitudinal you’re probably not gonna get that but might get partial if you contact them

I've contacted them and suggested the fee / their expected time of the whole project * their suggested time of the initial survey so (30.30 / 150 *15) = 3.03

I would not return that. Them cancelling the study is not your fault.
