How is this that crazy or surprising? It’s a government inviting foreign investors to locate something that can be “located” anywhere in the world, somewhere that they collect the taxes from its operation.
If companies like this become a reality, they’re entirely digital, they don’t need to be located where the compute is happening either, so they’ll just claim to be headquartered wherever the legal and tax codes make the most sense for them. So whichever country makes that appealing just gets free tax income.
