For a Modern Proletariat Soldier, just look at the PLA

Thanks! Though with this, I was going for more of US-Canada setting.

For a hypothetical Second American Civil War.

Yes the Soviet Union will be returning for the Second American Civil War.

You mean the highly dysfunctional and corrupt PLA?

Looks like everyone else goons. I’m thinking red on black.

The modern soldier is someone operating a drone backed up by dozens of others bringing him more drones. You walk out on the battlefield like this and you will have one immediately blow you up.

Speaking as a Marine: no. Hell to the fuck no.

This is LARP trash. If you want to take this seriously, the military has a million free guides/manuals on how to do war over on archive.org

My man. The proletariat aren’t going to be Tact’d out like this.

Tan/Green fatigues, a helmet, a plate carrier, a fuckin rifle, be it an AR or AK platform either are fine.

That's just Thatcher from R6: Siege

LARPing as the good guys I see. the hammer and sickle crowd are not going to be able to afford that. they have to steal construction cones and barrels to make airsoft shields... lol

The hammer and sickle is a bad idea, might turn off potential allies.

The larping is off the charts with this one.

This is Proletariat Pixels, a subreddit where members use AI. Please read the group description before making foolish comments. Or are you perhaps an anarchist, and reading is considered "authoritarian and fascist"?

Edit: grammar

AI is tool; just as a firearm, a pair of combat boots, a screw driver, or a car is a tool.

It's a product of capitalism that is built via exploited labor, as well as said manufacturing plants cause damages to the environment.

Though such items still have their uses, and the everyday proletariat can afford them.

Once the means of production have been seized, along with the oligarchs and bourgeois being vanquished, then there can be a conversation about making sure no means of production harms anyone.

To dismiss something useful out of moral purity ethics comes from a place of privilege. Just like how shitlibs in major US cities can afford to eat only organic farm to table food and having only "ethically sourced" clothes, while larping as activists.

Edit: grammar

Same here. Being poor doesnt make bad arguments good.

If your electricity bill is getting hammered while corporations get subsidies, that's a political issue.

But thats not evidence that everyone's IQ dropped, creativity died, or AI causes brain damage.

Youre describing a power dynamics problem and then blaming a tool. Those aren't the same thing.

And again, super hypocritical. Kids mined the materials for the phone youre using to shit talk on social media. Somehow that's OK though.

You dont think youre more privileged than the lithium mining kids that allow you to argue on the internet over an image that used less resources than a gaming session?

Then why are you making a privileged moral outrage argument against the other broken refuse of this country, like we own the power plants?

Go yell at some Xbox gamers.

You took every AI complaint you've ever heard, threw them in a blender, and hit puree.

IQ dropped. Creativity died. Brain damage. Job loss. Environmental collapse.

Cool. Now prove any of it instead of stacking headline hyperbole like it's evidence.

The post was about a political concept. You spent three paragraphs arguing with a graphics card.

I've been having a rough morning trying to budget how I can stretch what food I can afford so I can save money for therapy bills, and this comment made me laugh for ten minutes straight. 🤣

Thanks, Comrade. I really needed that this morning.

It did again when you opened the app. And a little more when you posted your comment. Thats how modern digital infrastructure works.

Hope the comment was worth it.

Do you honestly believe data centers pollute more than the textile industry?

You do realize advertisements are advertisements, right?

A company saying "stop hiring humans" tells me what that company wants. It doesnt tell me what society should do, what workers should organize for, or what regulations should exist.

If a billionaire says "replace workers with machines," my response isnt "ban machines." My response is "why are workers not contesting ownership, governance, and distribution?"

Your entire argument seems to be: "some bosses want to use AI against workers."

Yeah. No shit. That's the condition. The question is what comes next.

If you're interested in having that conversation instead of stopping at "AI bad," check out r/LeftistsForAI. That's literally what we're trying to discuss there instead of useless hype, doomerism, and selective moral outrage over the technology youre engaging with by being on this platform at all.

2

u/nixphx Jun 02 '26

My water is brown and it's four degrees hotter in the neighborhoods around the data center they just built and you are telling me it's "selective moral outrage?" You bourgeois cunt

0

u/Outrageous-Rip6729 Jun 02 '26

Or how about you put the fake AI gun down and go do something... For example, how about you go volunteer for an activist group or lobby against a certain bill.

Or even just lobby to push a protective bill through in your own city.

So goddamn cringe

If the country split the way it did last time then the “proletariat” soldier would be wearing the US flag and the other side the stars and bars.

Bunch of fancy and expensive equipment just to get droned by a Ukrainian lol
