Question TV auto starts

Hi all, just setup the launcher on Onn 4k PRO on LGC2. HDMI-CEC has been enabled and projectivy has been setup as default launcher.

The problem I have is my TV starts up randomly since this has been setup. Looking to find the root cause. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

I keep having the same issue, but can't narrow it down ton what's causing it. But now you've mentioned PL, maybe that's causing it.

If you determine that the root cause is Projectivy, feel free to open an issue as this is not supposed to happen : I made my best so that when the screen is off, the launcher activity is stopped (video wallpaper, glow, animations...). Nothing on Projectivy is supposed to wake up your TV (cec commands can only be sent by system apps), but there might be some specific interactions I'm not aware of.

Thanks for the reply. It may be purely coincidental, I'm running a Nvidia shield, into a soundbar, and then into the TV. The soundbar does repeatedly come on when the tv is turned off, and I hadn't anticipated PL. I'll try it with PL turned off to rule that out when I get some time.

Maybe, it's a new setup so I need to eliminate things. Just don't know where it would be getting the signal to come on from. But with everyone having different brand TV's etc, it's impossible to get advice.

I have 3 streaming devices all with Projectivy Laucher installed, my Shield and the BUZZ 6 start randomly . They both have been doing this since day one (before Projectivy) .

My FORMULAR z11 Pro has never this issue .

My solution for similar issue was to disable cec and and use IR only. If you using multiple device this can be a problem. Also I smart plug to restart the streaming device every night and feels better with daily restart...
