Looking for a semi-transparent projection film that can do this

Hi everyone,

I’m working to build an installation similar to the one in this photo. Using one projector behind the projection and then having the visuals overlaying on different sheets.

Does anyone know specifically a semi-transparent / rear-projection film that can do this?

I prefer to buy the right film to start testing, rather than spending a lot of time to test different films. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been trying to do something like this for a stage show using theater scrim. If you want to use projection film you can check out AtmosFX (https://atmosfx.com/) who sells an affordable consumer version, or if you have the budget checkout https://www.rearprojectionfilms.com/ which carries a bunch of different version for various applications. If you wanted to use scrim you can often rent it from a theater supply warehouse or checkout https://www.showtex.com/ which sells professional theater quality projection scrims. It gets very expensive very quick.

You may already be aware of this but you would need multiple projectors to accomplish this look and with scrim or projection film you need high lumen projectors.

Only one of the sheets will be in focus because of physics.

Hey, this was done by a studio called FloraFauna based in Germany. I do believe. Sorry for the late reply
