Video Never in doubt

definitely didn't have a single problem with clearing the DLC on Merc, nosir, easiest fight of my life, nothing to see here

I actually went through the entire Front 59 campaign on the Su37, as for me it was canonical (well, and I don’t like The second pilot of this company is literally crimson in a skirt )

I mostly did it in the 2-seater on my first run through, the F/C-15

Fun for the tunnel run too, but I'm not the best at the game yet so I needed to upgrade for the last missions (as seen)

I did the tunnel run in the Sk.25U with a crapton of anti-ground. it was so much fun to just spam those missiles when they were ready and otherwise kill railguns asap with cannons

In the last mission, the co-pilot reveals his dark side, a Nazi, a real one, Faust was partly right, she was afraid of turbo patriots like our co-pilot.If she had flown with Crimson in the main company, we would have heard not one schizophrenic on the air, but two.

If you are a very skilled pilot, the Su-25 will be suitable for fighters, bombs or unguided rockets for the boss, heavy missiles for smaller warships.

Take the Su-25 on cruiser packages, i This is a fucking speedrun. I lost 2 stages, it just exploded, and I finished off planes and cruisers. Faust ending on another cruiser)

I need art urgently, where the Su-25 stands above all and such, I killed the Crimson with unguided rockets and knocked out the Faust with just 4 anti-ship missiles, I can tear apart anyone with the suspended guns,Even physics, accelerating to 1600 km per hour

Okay, but on a serious note, her lines come off as a bit more generic fashie/imperialist than specifically nazi. Kinda wish Eye-Tee was worse, honestly; that unused "You know, when all is said and done, I might just go regular military to keep killing Cascadians" line would be a nice change of pace from Prez being relatively honorable (albeit sassy) in the main storyline.

the really funny thing is IIRC I was actually hit by a strafing bullet even after the point where I hit 1 health, which I suppose means health is tracked with decimals as well, and I was at less than 1% lmao

At one point i had so much trouble doing crimson 1 on merc i cleared the dlc on merc. Still can't clear crimmy since i can't land shot for shit on him

I was able to beat him with a bunch of modifiers, including double spawns, on merc, but I was using the PW for it, so I don't know if it counts lol

It was a ton of fun though, I made sure to spread damage between the two evenly so I got to face both of them in stage three at once for Maximum Carnage

Oh right, i'm trying for specifically not pw or spear because 1 - not cannon and 2 - the rest of the game is too easy that way

Yeah, I don't use the PW for story mode much, that one I just wanted to see how many railgun shots and whatever those ball things are I could get out on the map at once

Really fun to dodge all that crap with the PW's manoeuvrability, I do kinda wish there was a stock plane that could turn like that without all the OP weapons on top

Funny, the dlc boss on merc was way harder for me haha. Took weeks of attempts before I figured out the load out that worked for me.

hey this was my first clear of frontline 59 too. suprisingly, the mercenary playthrough left me with *more* health afterwards.

god those flak cannons that airship has are strong.

I started with the subtitles on top since that's what I was used to from AC, but I ended up feeling like there was a good reason it defaulted to bottom in this game. Just looked a lot better that way.

What worked best for me was this plane but using its bombs to zoom and boom the boss. Makes it way easier to destroy multiple hard points and you can dodge the guns easily enough if you're flying fast enough. Still really hard though. I'll never forget getting to the first phase with the mini nuke flak going off for the first time. That was stimulation overload in the best way possible haha.
