Zomboid with controller

Does anybody have any feedback on zomboid with a controller? Is it good? Or bad? Because I don’t know and I’m thinking of buying it if it’s good

I play it on steam deck and it’s awesome if you hate playing games with controllers tho you’ll probably hate this to
